The difference of how I prepared for this video compared to my first video is I took the script out way sooner so I can start to memorize it instead of just reading the lines over and over again and not memorize them much like the first video. My partner for this video was Dominic and I want to thank him for memorizing all of his lines and helping me on this video. Now I can talk about my favorite Disney Princess and I will be to argue with anyone of why Elsa is the best if they don't agree with me. My struggles are when I mess up the thought that goes through my head is like "oh crap I forgot my lines," but instead I should try to just back into the conversation. In the future I am looking forward to having longer conversations that can relate to when I speak to Hispanohablantes. Dominic had good memorization and the lines were quite difficult, the only critique I have for him is pronunciation. For myself I need to start taking my time on my sentences because I fly through them and it may be hard to understand me when I am speaking Spanish. I would want to collaborate with anyone that is in my class that is somewhat better than me with speaking Spanish so I can challenge myself to speak with higher vocabulary. I would discuss anything along the lines of what we do in our free time, where we grew up, our best memories, anything along those lines. I would like to speak to my maid, Maria, she barely speaks English and I would love to have a conversation with her only speaking Spanish and I want to be able to understand everything the both of us are saying. I want to also start ordering food in Spanish when I get Mexican food because that is like a conversation with the cashier and that will help me expand my Spanish vocabulary.
